Clever Design Keeps Any Bike Level and Balanced
Every off-road dirtbike has a different angle on the bottom of the frame / skid plate and if you are like me it drives me crazy when the bike isn't sitting level, balanced and stable on the stand. Risk Racing has solved this problem with the ingenious but simple design of the ATS Adjustable Top Magnetic Motocross Stand better known as simply the ATS.
What makes this stand unique is right there in the name. The top of the stand is adjustable to the exact angle of your bikes frame or skid plate meaning that the bike stays level, balanced and more stable on this stand than on a conventional non-adjustable stand. A pair of anodized CNC aluminum turnbuckles with locknuts make this possible. You just put your bike on the stand, loosen the locknuts and adjust the top to the proper angle so that the bike sits level with both wheels level and well off the ground making routine maintenance like oil changes, chain lubrication and changing tires much easier.
But the Risk Racing designers didn't stop there, they added even more features to make this stand really 'stand out'. First of all both the side panels of the stand are magnetized and this clever idea comes in very handy when working on your bike. The tools you need stay right there close at hand and any bolts, washers etc that you remove can be stuck handily on the side of the stand until needed for reassembly. With both sides magnetized you can easily keep both the tools and the parts organized and on the side of the bike they are needed. This may not sound like much but is a big help especially when you are working in the field at an event or a ride. Things don't get dropped and lost on the ground, they stay right where they are put.
The Risk Racing ATS stand is made of steel with an oversized base for added stability. Your bike never touches the steel of the stand due to the large chemical resistant rubber covered top that cradles your bike and holds it firmly in place and ensures no slipping or moving around on the stand. The top also features a large drain hole in the center so oil can be changed easily while the bike is still on the stand.
